ACCA exams are held four times a year. Applied Knowledge papers run on-demand year-round, while Applied Skills and Strategic Professional exams follow quarterly sessions. Missing a deadline could cost you an entire 3-month cycle.

On-Demand CBEs (Applied Knowledge)
Business and Technology (BT), Management Accounting (MA), and Financial Accounting (FA) can be booked any day at an authorised CBE centre. There are no session restrictions for these three papers. Results are available immediately after the exam.

- Early Entry: Lowest cost — book 4+ months ahead.
- Standard Entry: Normal cost — 6-8 weeks before exam.
- Late Entry: Surcharge applies — within 4 weeks.
