🎓 After Class 12 (12th Standard)

This is the most common entry route for Indian students.

  • Minimum 65% in English and Mathematics/Accounts.
  • Minimum 50% in all other subjects.
  • You start directly at the Applied Knowledge level (BT, MA, FA).
  • No exemptions at this stage — you sit all 13 papers.

📚 After Class 10 (FIA Route)

If you haven't completed Class 12 or don't meet the percentage criteria.

  • Start via the Foundation in Accountancy (FIA) programme.
  • Complete 3 FIA papers (RQF Level 2/3) to gain entry to ACCA.
  • Ideal for students who want to build finance skills before committing to ACCA.

🏛️ Graduates (B.Com / BBA / MBA)

University graduates can skip foundational papers with exemptions.

  • B.Com / BBA from a recognized university: typically 4–6 exemptions (BT, MA, FA + others depending on your degree content).
  • MBA (Finance): up to 6 exemptions including some Skills papers.
  • ACCA reviews your transcript individually — submit a "Credit for Prior Learning" application.

⭐ Qualified CA / CMA / CS

The fastest route to ACCA membership.

  • Qualified ICAI members: up to 9 exemptions (all Knowledge + Skills papers).
  • You start directly at Strategic Professional — just SBL, SBR + 2 option papers.
  • CMA (ICMAI) and CS: typically 4–7 exemptions based on an MOU with ACCA.
